This October, the Hog Roast Somerset team catered for Emma and Tom’s beautiful wedding reception. The event took place at Beadon farm, which had a picturesque outdoor location, complete with a great marquee for the catering. For the catering, we were hired to serve our delicious hog-roast menu, alongside a variety of tasty side dishes and a luxurious dessert course.
On the day of the wedding, the Hog Roast Somerset team arrived at the venue early, giving us plenty of time to prepare all of the dishes on-site. For the main course, we served a delicious slow-roasted hog, complete with sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. We also provided a variety of side dishes, including homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw and our crowd-pleasing pasta salad. Our catering was served buffet style with more than enough for the 85 guests to include- as well as plenty for seconds! Following the main course, we also provided a selection of sweet treats and desserts, with each option accompanied by English cream and fresh berries. Overall, our menu was a great addition to the wedding and it was great to see Cloe and John enjoying their wedding day surrounded by their friends and family.
